Attendee Requirement:

To be eligible you must be a Volunteer Member from a Volunteer or Combination Department.

Level I - Begins October 9th and Ends November 20th, 2021
Holiday Break for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year

Level II - Begins January 8th and Ends February 5th, 2022
This leadership academy is a hybrid model between self-paced and cohort.
A cohort is a group of students working together through the same academic curriculum.
Compared to a proceed-at-your-own-pace model, a cohort invites student participation, fosters creativity, builds leadership skills, generates a sense of community. This format proceeds at a predetermined pace.
Perfect option for current officers, future-potentials, new officers, mid-level chiefs and aspiring leaders. There is structure and flexibility that works with your busy schedules.

2.5 month structure to complete all training on pace

Every 2-weeks an attendee watches 3 classes; classes average 30 minutes at your own pace

Bi-Monthly Zoom call for 90 minutes on Saturday from 9am-10:30am for the cohort group with instructors for Q&A, scenarios and enhanced learning

Brave Fire Leader Online Academy
Kick-Off Zoom class begins Saturday, October 9, 2021
at 9am EST for 1 hour

First class begins on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 9am EST for 90 minutes, then every other week.

Level I: October 9th thru November 20th, 2021
Holiday Break through New Years
Level II: January 8th thru February 5th, 2022

Note: If we do not receive enough applications to fill the cohort, everyone that was accepted will be automatically enrolled in the self-paced option.
